Our Story
Our names are Christine and Vladimir. We’re a couple based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, committed to rescuing dogs who have been overlooked, abandoned, or failed by the system.
It all started with Luna, a labradoodle who had spent her life living outside full-time with a backyard breeder and was discarded when she was no longer needed. She came to us fearful, under-socialized, and withdrawn, but slowly revealed the sweet, playful, confident, sassy dog she was always meant to be. Meeting her became the inspiration for the work we do today—and she became our first “foster fail.”
Since then, our work has grown from helping dogs locally to rescuing euthanasia-listed and stray dogs from California and Texas. Today, we are a 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue, and in the past two years, we’ve helped over 80 dogs—and we’re just getting started.
