Frequently Asked Questions
-
We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs who have been abandoned, abused, or overlooked. From medical care to transport to finding the right home, we’re involved every step of the way.
-
Send us a message or fill out an application. We’ll talk through your lifestyle and the dog’s needs to make sure it’s the right fit, then coordinate a meet-and-greet or transport if needed.
-
Yes. We regularly transport dogs to their adoptive families and can coordinate out-of-state adoptions. Timing depends on routes, weather, and the dogs’ needs, but we’ll keep you updated throughout.
-
100% goes directly to the dogs in our care—medical treatment, transport, food, enrichment, and support for our foster families. We can’t do this without you.
-
Fostering means opening your home to a rescue dog temporarily while we work to find them the right forever home. You provide a safe, stable environment, daily care, and help us learn more about the dog’s personality and needs.
We typically ask for a 1-12 month commitment. Many of our dogs need time to decompress, build confidence, and fully settle before they’re ready for adoption. We support you throughout the entire process—medical care, guidance, and anything you need along the way.

There are so many ways to be part of this work. You don’t have to do everything—just something.
Foster – Give a dog a safe place to land while they wait for their forever home (we typically ask for a 1-12 month commitment).
Adopt – Provide a permanent, loving home.
Donate – Every dollar goes directly to the dogs—medical care, transport, food, and supplies.
Share – Posting our dogs and stories helps them reach the right people. It truly makes a difference.
Partner with us – We’re always looking to work with fosters, rescues, and transport supporters.
It takes a community to do this—and we’re so grateful for every single person who shows up for these dogs.

No—we don’t take ownership of owner surrenders.
However, we’re happy to courtesy post your dog and help guide you through the process. We can share advice on how we safely screen adopters, write effective posts, and find the right, loving home.
